  Rick Niles asks:

Does anyone else get this result with RH6.0? Try this program:

-----------------
#include < stdio.h>
#include < math.h>

int
main()
{
  printf("%f\n",floor(0.1));
  return 0;
}
------------------
It returns with 36028797018963968.000000 on my AlphaStation 200 (21064). But only under the new RedHat 6.0. It seems the floor function is really broken. I think it may be a problem in < bits/inlinemath.h>.

Does anyone get this result? Does anyone else NOT get this result with Alpha RH6.0? Does anyone know of a work around?

Thanks,
Rick Niles.

Update June 13th 1999 This floor()/ceil() problem is unique to the 21064 (EV4).
