Dear,
i have install trouble on a ruffian (before update to SuSE 6.3 AXP -
Linux 2.2.14 with installed 2.2.13).
The yast/system update for basic package update runs to "With error: 1" on
package "kernmod.rpm" and i can't unselected this package. Update by hand
have this problem too. When i remove the files there are listed in
kernmod.rpm eg. "/lib/modules/2.2.13" by hand and install via yast, then
there are no problem.
(A small problem: the kernel from CD/disc has no support for vfat-fs and
run into problems to update the system).
Other problem with date / hwclock:
The system clock as the correct date, but when i boot to linux, the date
switch to current day/month, but to year 2052 (next epoch) ?
I can set the correct date and all is wunderful, but after next boot, the
system is in 2052. :( [apc164ux4; ldmilo from SuSE CD]
Next problem on xcdroast-0.96e: The shmemgets() failed of cdrecord.
Tip: change to DEFAULT_FIFOSIZE (3*1024*1024)
Non SuSE problem, but my:
I can't install a soundblaster (isa) card on UX164. Is there a faq that can
i read ?
