Hello all,
I went to install proftpd and now I can't seem to install anything!
"apt-get install proftpd" just whines about broken gnome dependecies!?!
I've tried just about every command I could think of. It says to try
"apt-get -f install" but that doesn't do much.
Basically each package says something like:
dpkg-deb: subprocess pate killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Then it says:
Errors were encountered while processing:
/var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-libs-data_1.0.53-1_all.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-bin_1.0.50-0.2_alpha.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-admin_1.0.3-1_alpha.deb
/var/cache/apt/archives/gnome-session_1.0.52-1_alpha.deb
E: Sub-process returned an error code (1)
Ideas?
TIA,
Ron
