Somebody was able to compile 2.4.0-test4 ???
I got:
gcc -D__KERNEL__ -I/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.0-test4/include -Wall
-Wstrict-prototypes -O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe -mno-fp-regs -ffixed-8
-mcpu=ev6 -Wa,-mev6 -fno-strict-aliasing -c -o osf_sys.o osf_sys.c
osf_sys.c: In function `osf_select':
osf_sys.c:1079: `KFDS_NR' undeclared (first use in this function)
osf_sys.c:1079: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
osf_sys.c:1079: for each function it appears in.)
make[2]: *** [osf_sys.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.0-test4/arch/alpha/kernel'
make[1]: *** [_dir_arch/alpha/kernel] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.0-test4'
make: *** [stamp-build] Error 2
while i386 fails in the ethernet 1000 make[4]: *** [acenic.o] Error 1
With "normal ethernet" i386 works..
