It's not you, although it looks like it should be compiled with -mieee
anyway. I recompiled it and tried what you did with similar results (said
it found a short record). Looks like a type size problem. I'll look into
it. In the meantime, I'd suggest filing a bug report...I'll see if I can
work up a patch for it.
