This seems not to work for me :-(
I've tried several combinations but I get
always the same result.

I forgot to say in my previous posting: the problem do not
appear if the user starting X is `root' or `admin' (`admin'
is the user account created after the root account during
the debian installation process). This is really curious
for me: I do not understand which privileges the user admin
has that can make the difference.
