Hi,

is there a Howto available where it is described how to
upgrade from slink to potato (I've got an LX164.)?
I've got the slink things downloaded, but somehow I cannot make my mind
up, I would prefer to start rightaway with potato, instead of
installing slink first and then trying to switch to potato. Or is it
less problematic to change from glibc 2.1 to glibc 2.2 than from libc5
to libc6?

If possible, I would then use the base package and installing stuff from
slink and upgrade it to potato before starting with the rest of the
packages. Or do you recommend to wait until Debian 2.2 is ready? I am
not running dry in front of a non-operable computer. I want to switch
from RedHat to Debian with a new additional harddisk waiting for things
to come.

Thanks in advance,

regards,

Kerstin
