My killer question is when it is likely to be worth doing an upgrade of a
Multia with S3 968 from the present "stable" version.
The last time I tried upgrading to unstable, particularly to get a newer X
server, everything *except* X seemed to work out. X turned out to be
*extremely* unhappy, which, for me, was good reason to reinstall stable, as X
is is the primary use of the box.
Are new X servers likely to get ported to stable? (Or should I not look
forward to this?)
