Hello,
Ok, so the alpha boots I have a filesystem on it and it works ok. So I
thought I'd rebuild a kernel - Bad idea. I've now got ide timeouts.
No problem, i'll just reboot with the old kernel and recompile.
No LILO prompt, hmm
So I'll just break into SRM and boot the old kernel there.
But of course the SRM documentation doesn't mention things like how to
break into it.
Can someone put the URL
http://www.support.compaq.com/alpha-tools/documentation/archive/sdk/ec-qk8df-te_srm_cons_mb_users_gde.pdf
somewhere? It looks pretty useful.
