Subject: addition: 164LX plip-problem

Hi,
I found out that the alpha only hangs, when the cable is connected to the
x86. When the alpha is off-line or the cable is only connected to the alpha,
pings produce plip-timeouts, but no hangs. When the cable is connected to
the x86, even a ping from the x86 to the alpha hangs the machine. The x86
has received 1 packet and tries to send some back to the alpha who doesn't
receive them.
Bye,
Marius
