If you can wait, there are buildscripts on the Alpha @ AlphaLinux, so it will
get compiled sooner or later AFAIK. If you can't wait I can always
do an explicit compile ..

Stefan suggested that we update the kernel on the Alpha there to 2.4.x.
We'll see what happens.
