Hmm,
I just realised (I'm a bit slow) that it cannot be a problem of the scsi
and scsi disk modules not being installed ...
Even if they were installed, the root partitition still needs to be
mounted before they can be loaded which it cannot be because it has not
loaded the appropriate modules precisely because the root partition has
not been mounted because ...
So is the problem that the kernel installed does not have inbuilt scsi
and scsi disk support? ... or am I barking up the wrong tree?
Thanks for any help
Cheers
