I just point it against the directory of rpm's and it will figure out
that stuff by itself. no need for hdlist.cz filez in the cooker tree for
that. urpmi is cool!

Strange thing is that 2.4.2-13mdk does seem to build on my box, but
everything after that doesn't... weird.

Chmouel: Can that thing be hooked up to a terminalserver, so we can get
onto the console port when we can't get in through the network?

Yup... Things might need to be changed since mdk puts the scsi drivers
in the modules... The bootdevice is of course on a SCSI device. The
bootchain might need an initrd=

I'm also experiencing weirdness with mkinitrd lately, I'll get some more
info on that soon.

Exactly.

Where is the 2.4.2-13mdk kernel-utils package?

Stefan

PS: Can we move this thread to a mailinglist for cooker-axp? I assume no
more passwords will be shared in this thread... Are Peter and Rich also
subscribed to <cooker-axp@linux-mandrake.com> ?
