Thanks!! That's solved...

How do you think the alpha kernel should be aproached in the future?
Should we try to support as many devices as possible on the alpha or
should we only support the devices that are being used by the people how
use the kernel (mainly me?) and add support for stuff as users start
demanding it?

I'm thinking of doing the seccond thing, it would greatly simplify the
kernel configuration, and short compile-time...
