164LX and SRM?

Is anyone running a 164LX with SRM? If so what versions of SRM and the kernel
are you using? I have tried unsuccessfully to move from AlphaBIOS/Milo to
SRM/aboot. Whenever I boot from SRM, my machine hangs sporadically. If I
boot from AlphaBIOS/Milo it's rock stable. Any clues?

I have tried SRM v 5.5-1 and 5.3. I've tried kernel 2.2.12 and
2.2.13pre[4-7].
