Subject: bladeenc vs. redhat6

Has anyone managed to compile bladeenc under redhat 6.0? I am getting an
unexpected eof if I try to encode a file. It must be glibc problem, because
the "old" binary for alpha runs. But I want to compile a newer version with
dec c. (the error is independet of the compiler I use (egcs, decc))
What the hell have they changed in glibc???!!!
