SRM doesn't see my Qlogic ISP1040B and Etherexpress Pro 100b

I just replaced ARC with SRM on
several PC164s and now I see that
only the floppy is seen on all of the systems.

A few see (show dev) a primary ide
device, but it depends on what kind
of disk is attached.

None of my Intel Etherexpress Pro 100 Bs
are seen. I thought this one was included
on the latest SRMs. What is the deal here?
No ethernet has been attached yet.
Will I see it light up when theres a pulse?

My Qlogic ISP1040B (reported to be
a 1020 under /proc/scsi/scsi) is not
seen. When I was looking around for
a SCSI controller for this purpose,
the consensus was that the ISP1020
and 1040 would work. What could
be wrong here. (It works fine
after I've booted off of the floppy
using the install kernel.)
