After I got 2.4.0-test10 to compile (thanks for the stupid user fix - goes
to show what happens when there are gaps in my knowledge). I booted it.
It booted fine. Then I tried to run any of the Tru64 binaries. They
didn't work. (Not realizing until this moment that it was only Tru64
binaries) I set about to recompile changing the config to compile in
binary support for elf, a.out, misc binaries with the Intel ELF binary
support as a module.
That kernel didn't boot. So whether or not it works seems heavily
dependant upon what you choose.
If anyone know how to get Tru64 support under 2.4.0-test10, my machine
(Miata) seems a bit snappier under the 2.4.0-test10.
Thanks,
James
