Looks like either something got screwed up when you did the 'make config'
or 'make config' wasn't done. Try starting from scratch and, if it still
fails, send me the .config so that I can track this down. Also, in case
you did so, you probably don't want to start out with an old 2.2.x
config since many things have changed from then (just a tip, not a
requirement).
