Yes, I think so. At some point the keyboard does not accept keystrokes.

This is the key point; I never get the SRM prompt. The CPU module
error messages seem only to occur on a cold boot, and disappear with a
recycle. The memory errors seem hard.
On a related point, there is a reference in the AlphaServer
DS20E/AlphaStation DS20E Reference Guide (Order Numer: ER-K8F6W-UA.
D01), which I pulled off the web somewhere, to the "DS20E Service
Guide", which I could not find on the web. Is there any chance that
this could be made available somewhere?
Also, several documents/web pages pointed me to
http://www.digital.com/alphaoem, which seems no longer to exist, and
which also seemed to have lots of good technical info. Is this
information somewhere else on the web now?
