Subject: problem getting milo to work on a 500a

I've not exactly ever used Linux w/ the alpha before.
My NT ARC frimware is not exactly as listed in the HOWTO at alphalinux.org.
I've tried to match it close, but it still keeps freezing at 'Swapping to
PALcode at 0x80000 ...'
Digital Alpha 21164, 500Mhz
128Mb
AlphaBIOS 5.65
The machine is a perosonal workstation a-series 500 (500a).
Linux Loader is V1.5.
I've got linload.exe and milo loaded on a floppy that I'm trying to get to
Milo with.
