Dear Linuxers
After having used Linux for several years on X86 pltaform, i wanted
to try it out on an old alpha i bought very cheap
Unfortunately, it's the unsupported LYNX , aka AlphaServer 2100A
The (already reported) problem is a hang when aboot transfers
control to the kernel.
I also discovered than none of the *BSD do run on LYNX
What is there so strange about this machine ... ?
Any input is more than wellcome
BTW, the machine ha no use now, and i can try any idea/patch
Thanks
Regards,
