Hi Will,
I have Debian reinstalled in one of my disks and I experienced the
following:
I mounted the new disk (Quantum V 18GB, future RedHat) as a linux partition.
After a forced reboot, system asked me to run e2fsck. Then, I got
the same error message as shown when running JumpStart!:
Kernel panic: Unable to find empty ecb for aha1740
in swapper task - not syncing
It seems that the problem is in e2fsck to handle large disks.
