        RH 6.1 has the smarts to do aboot properly, provided
        the disk already has a BSD disklabel. The easiest way
        is to do the following:

>>>b dqa0 -file "kernels/generic.gz" -flag "root=/dev/hda"

        Install to the point of partitioning the disks.

        ctrl-alt-F2 to go to other bash console

        fdisk /tmp/sda

        Type b
        Type w
        Type q

        Reset the system
        Restart the install with the command above:

>>>b dqa0 -file "kernels/generic.gz" -flag "root=/dev/hda"

        Install away. Let Red Hat partition the disks. All will
        be set up automatically.

        After installation, reset the system (It'll try to reboot
        off the CD).

        type the following at the >>> prompt

>>> set bootdef_dev dka0
>>> set boot_osflags 0
>>> set boot_file ""

        Now type >>>b and you should boot right up.
