Hi
After trying an upgrade from samba-1.9p18-3 on an alpha Redhat 5.2 I had
to downgrade because of an passwd-error. The alpha-macine is
domaincontroller on a network of mixed varitees of machines. Security is
set to user and so far there has been no problems (plain text
passwords).
The following error ocurred when trying to get a browselist:
joker$smbclient -L valhal
Password:
session setup failed: ERRSRV - ERRbadpw (Bad password - name/password
pair in a Tree Connect or Session Setup are invalid.)
Tha alpha machine is running kernel 2.0.36 with the newest rpm-packages
available. What i really weird is the fact the my Intel-PPro (Redhat 5.2
kernel 2.2.0) machine is running samba-2.0.2-0 without any problems
whatsoever.
If there is anybody who have experinced the same problem or have a clue
to what is wrong I will appriciate your answers.
