There seems to be a bit of trouble on the MP3 front lately.
BladeEnc is fighting some legal battles and it has temporarily
withdrew its source code. You might find it on some RPM archive,
though.
In general there's not much Alpha precompiled binaries available
and you'll probably have to tweak the source code to compile it.
It's a bit of a pain but theoretically you should get there.
That being said, I'd love to talk off line with someone on
tips regarding compiling the latest MAME source code...
