One more experience from me:
If you got any floppy-related error, try again and again and again...
If that wont help, reboot, try again and again...
If that wont help, switch your floppy-environment from 1 to 2 ,
reboot...
Many times I wondered why copyboot.exe does not work.
Then I tried it again and again and at the fifth attempt it worked.
Then I was one step further: I could boot the "install-kernel". I was
prompted to inserted the ramdisk;
put it in, kernel-oops.
Tried again, same; tried again, read error on one sector.
Tried...
Then it read the disk. Now it hangs at that "vfs mounted root" or
similar.
I tried different floppydisks from different vendors and noticed no
differences.
The floppy workes without any problems when tru64 is booted. The
srm-bios seems to be buggy.
