I tried to boot from all partitions available, it was displaying /sda1 as
the wrong format, it didn't show /sda3.
Sure sounds like Milo failed to perform as one would expect - though I
happily admit to finding the whole MILO adventure rather confusing.

The partitions were all formatted in identical fashion to their previous
types. The only difference was to put Linux native as sda1 and NT onto sda3
- ie swap the two around. Partition sizes weren't changed. If Milo expects
me to do something "I'm not even aware of" then I stand with mouth agape :-)

Well that's marvelous and reassuring to hear. You make the notable point
that they're all Linux partitions. I hoped for dual-boot Linux & NT4 without
drama.
Milo says built on 2.0.30 If there are later versions then I'd be
delighted if someone could provide a pointer to the appropriate version for
an XL366.
