Before you try *everything* you can think of and pull out all of your
hair, try changing the PCI slot the RAID card is plugged in to. I now it
sounds stupid, but this has been the solution to my problems with a sound
card and an ATM card in the past.

I used to get the 'device or resource busy' error when I insmod'ed the
sound modules. That is until I changed the PCI slot the sound card was
plugged in to :)
