Hi Everyone,

I recently got hold of a Digital DEC 2000 axp machine from my work and I am trying to install Redhat linux on it with a lot of difficulty. I have managed to get through the srm boot menu but as soon as it boots from the CD it stops on "Starting kswapd 1.5", the distributions I have tried are Redhat 6.2 and 7. Can anyone please help. (I have a i386 box running so I have some experience...)
