HOLY SMOKES!!! I just got the February 2000 issue of Linux Journal and
on page 71 is a Compaq ad devoted to Linux on Alpha! I really like it,
it's an excellent start! Things like "Linux Screams on Alpha" and "Alpha
is the fastest single-processor chip in the market and has the best
floating point performance--factors that help Alpha Linux simply rocket
past everything else." This is a LOT more then DEC did for their own
OS's on Alpha. I am VERY pleased! A++ to the Q.
