Hi,
I have been haveing a problem creating partitions on my Compaq XP1000
alpha, useing Redhat 6.1 for ALPHA. When I create the partitions a,b,c,d
and e. Only "b","d" and "e" show up. The "a" partition is type "boot," and
the partition "c" is type ext2." The verison of fdisk is the BSD version
and I boot the box useing the following command from SRM:

boot dva0 -fi vmlinux.gz -fl "root=/dev/hda expert text"

If anyone could shed any light on the problem I would be grateful.

Alec
