Here in France, we need a filter on the line and then an ADSL Modem
(Alcatel),
but our local telco dont use PPPoE but PPTP.

There is a modified PPTP client for Linux with the Alcatel modem here:
 ftp://ftp.rhapsodyk.net/pub/linux/pptp/pptp-linux-1.0.2-patched.tar.gz

I don't know if this client is working on axp, because my city does not
provide
ADSL

I have to move!
