Adaptec just had an on-line conference.
During this conference, Adaptec announced its plans to EOL on 3/31/00
the following adapters:
2930u2
2940u
2940uw pro
2940u2w
3950u2
There is a transition matrix to show which Ultra160 products will replace
the adapters. The Ultra160 adapters are shipping now. There is "Linux
support from the start" for these devices (their words, not mine).
