Not without patches, which was why I sent mine around.
All of those, plus other Alpha-related ones, appear to be in
pre-patch-2.3.40-4, so the hope is that 2.3.40 will be better
WRT compiling out of the box.
If you are desperate, try 2.3.40-4 and see what happens; the only
way things get fixed is if folks try them and provide feedback or
even suggest patches...
