Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your reply :)

I did do this and upgraded my SRM console to v4.8.
The docs on gatekeeper and the SDK still only mention
the QLogic ISP1020 and NCR 810 - I was wondering
whether the driver in this SRM would be
upwards-compatible with the QLA1040/1080 however...

Nope, the NCR53c875 does not work at all :(
sho conf shows the SCSI PCI device, but
sho dev does not show the host adapter or SCSI
devices...
I've just borrowed a NCR53c810 controller and it was
recognized immediately - I was rather hoping the
driver in this SRM would be upwards compatible with

still do require a wide/UW SCSI controller.
Thanks again,
Rob Parnell
PS - I was thinking about posting the original
question on the tru64-managers-list since I'm sure
this issue has arisen, especially with the recent
Compaq Tru64 hobbyist license...
I'm sure other PC64-275 owners are running into this
SRM/SCSI controller compatibility situation - I'd be
interested to see how others have resolved this.
