I believe the target for 2.4 is ~8cpus. Seeing as the majority of systems are
x86, and that's the highest most non-esoteric x86configurations go, that's
probably a reasonable target. We can address whatever the Intel SMP spec
allows, IIRC, but being able to use them is another story.
