Hmmm. let's start from scratch. Wait, these are from rawhide aren't
they? That may be your problem. Let's try again. Unstall everything and
install your stock compilers from the CD.
Make sure they work i.e no errors when you type gcc then you can
a) uninstall it and install the rawhide rpms in the order I showed you
b) If a fails get the srpm and rebuild it
c) get egcs-1.1.1-4 from my site which is known to work

Also do you have the latest binutils?
