On my (ruffian UX alpha 21164), it's working quite happily. The only thing
that seems particularly upset is esd. Anything I play with esd has the
last few frames repeated for a number of seconds after the end. I proved
this to myself by playing the same mp3 in XMMS with and without the ESD
plugin, and stopping it after a few seconds. Direct output to /dev/dsp
is fine, via esd is broken. I'm on debian potato, so I'll have
a go at building it from scratch to see if that's any better.
However, in general, the driver is working for wav/mp3/CD Audio. Yet again,
I think the people who write the driver have done sterling work, and
deserve a lot of praise :)
