applix demo for alpha

I downloaded the applix demo for alpha from compaq's site, but it doesn't work.
Trying to install it, I get:

error: failed dependencies:
        applixdemo-menus is needed by applixdemo-4.4.2-1

I can't seem to find any such additional rpm anywhere by that name.
If I install anyway with --nodeps, when I try to run applix I get:

Language directory /home/applix/axdata/eng not found
axnet error, axmain already started. Try Again.
Applix evaluation license expires in 200 days.

And that's it. I'd really like to try applix before I think about buying it,
so I'm bummed that the demo doesn't work.

Anyone else tried the demo?
