Following several suggestion I have seen on this list I tried to build
mawk as supplied on the Redhad CD to use as a replacement for awk on my
Jensen (running RH 6.0). I get through the make OK, but when "make"
tests the executable the process finally just hangs with the last
message printed saying:
"testing function calls and general stress test"
I can see the process using cpu time, but nothin else happens anymore.
Any ideas?
