Ooooh. Nifty. I didn't think Linux could work on the 3000 at all. Does
your version of aboot also run on 164SX (and the others) and does it
solve the problem with the 'sparse superblocks' version of the ext2
filesystem? The version of Red Hat Rawhide I'm running right now is a
bit kludgy on booting. I'm using milo and the kernel is booting from the
dos partition because milo can't read the new ext2 filesystem.
