Heh... they're certainly welcome. Maybe this will push the Alpha up past
PowerPC to the second most popular architecture for Linux. ;)
Speaking of which, that always struck me as rather odd (that PowerPC Linux
users outnumber Alpha Linux users) since the Alpha is older, faster, and more
in line with the tinkerer's nature of Linux users. (Though the PowerPC is
also in line with the woefully underfinanced nature of Linux users. Maybe
that wins out.)
Does anyone know of anything approaching a census or distribution of Linux
usage on the various architectures? It's hard enough just to count Intel
Linux users, so I doubt it, but I thought I'd ask.
Just out of curiosity...
