I have a PC164 with an Adaptec SCSI, and a few SCSI drives. It is
working find under 2.2.9, but 2.2.11 failed to boot. It loads fine,
but I get timeout messages when trying to reset the SCSI bus. I
can set my .config if desired.

I configured for PC164 (not generic) and the compiler is:
gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314 (egcs-1.1.2 release)

Here is the information from /proc/scsi/aix7xxx/0 (2.2.9 kernel):

Adaptec AIC7xxx driver version: 5.1.10/3.2.4
Compile Options:
  AIC7XXX_RESET_DELAY : 5
  AIC7XXX_TAGGED_QUEUEING: Adapter Support Enabled
                             Check below to see which
                             devices use tagged queueing
AIC7XXX_PAGE_ENABLE : Enabled (This is no longer an option)
  AIC7XXX_PROC_STATS : Disabled

Adapter Configuration:
SCSI Adapter: Adaptec AHA-294X Ultra SCSI host adapter
                           Ultra Wide Controller

And here are my SCSI devices:

icarus.com % cat /proc/scsi/scsi
