2.2.11 segfaults

I've been having problems with kernels after 2.2.8; 2.2.9 and later cause
segfaults under high system load. (e.g. causing "rc5des" to segfault while
I'm compiling something, etc.)

I even once had `ls` drop core while compiling something in the background.

Has anyone else noticed similar problems? My machine is an SX164 with 128MB
of RAM and an NCR53c875.

2.2.11 seems more stable than 9 and 10, but 2.2.7 is the most recent stable
kernel I've found.
