Very Large Disk

I'm looking at installing some new disk on my XP1000.
It seems Seagate now make a 50GB U2W LVD disk drive.
Anyone know if this will give Alpha Linux heartburn??

I have an 18GB installed now without trouble so I know
that works. Has anyone got a 36GB or larger drive installed
and functional? Or that tried and failed to get it to
work?

Also, to use the disk as a single partition, does the
ext2 file system block size need to be increased? I can
easily generate a file that will fill the whole drive
so that has to be supported.

Any data points would be useful.

Also, I've got 4 new UW/U2W SCSI cards I'll be playing
with in the next couple days and will report which
play well with Alpha Linux.
(IWILL, Tekram(2 types), Datastorm, Qlogic 1040B)

Should be interesting.

Wes
