Hi Graeme,

it seems that you did not see the reply I sent to you
yesterday for your message below.
I will re-post it here:

"Hi Graeme,

As far as I know *minlabel* does not evaluate correctly the size of the big
disks. Forget the column displaying the disk/partition sizes in Megabytes.
You can calculate the real sizes multiplying the number
of sectors of each partition by 512 bytes/sector. So you can have
the exact size partitions. Use sectors instead of MB or GB for the
disk partitions.
Anyway, minlabel is just a help to start Linux install. During the
Linux installation you will be prompted to repartition your disk
using RedHat Druid or fdisk-BSD.
For instance, in my case, from SRM console I see 1.18GB for my
Quantum 18GB disk. From my VAXstation, using SRM console, I see
only 500MB for my Seagate 9.2GB ST410800N. SRM firmware does not
interpret big disk sizes correctly as well. But it doesn't mean that the
disk will not work. Everything is fine in my VAX, and with the
Alpha Jensen I could mount the 18GB Quantum as a Debian partition.

Luiz"
