Hi everyone,
I have seen several posts about installing RH 7.0 using Milo but I didn't
see anything like my problems.
I'm actually using a RH 6.2 on my LX 164 (AlphaBIOS 5.7). I use Milo-2.2.17
from stepan@linux.de.
However, I'm not enable to boot the installation of RH 7.0.
When using linload + Milo 2.2.17, I get nothing when I try to load the
kernel from milo boot. Nothing print out on the screen. By the way, which
kernel should I use on the CD ? vmlinux.gz ? vmlinuz.24 ? vmlinuz.j ?
When using linload (RH version)+ Milo 2.2.17, I got the following before
getting milo boot prompt :
Unable to find MILO files in current partition.
Please insert floppy disk RUFF.MILO #1 and press a key...
When using ldmilo (Jay's Hacked version), I got that the my configuration
isn't supported.
Can somebody help me ?
I do everything from the CD. Should I create boot floppies ? If yes, which
one should I create ? milo-xxx.img ? generic.img ? ramdisk.img ??
Thanks for any response, Mathieu.
