There supossedly is someone working on DRI on Alpha, a Roger Davenport.
There's a link to his site off 3dfx.
http://linux.3dfx.com/internet_resources/developer.htm. The site it links
to is a dead link. I did some searching on the dri.sourceforge.net mailing
lists and found this
http://www.geocrawler.com/archives/3/680/2000/1/0/3194876/ . So he was
active as to 2-3 months ago.
