i think that you want the ipchians list
you should go to
http://www.rustcorp.com/linux/ipchains/

email list is at ipchains@rustcorp.com

i presume that you have 2 or more ethernet/ppp interfaces in the machine.
check to see which which one is truley eth0 and eth1/ppp0. if you get them
flipped nothing will work even if your rules are right
make sure that all your ifconfigs are right

you might look at http://packetfilter.dynip.com for s script generator

good luck

Subject: Ipchains Problemo

Hi there,

I just upgraded from a p120 to a p2, I just popped the hard drive that was
in the p120 into the p2, everything worked, BUT i cannot ping from my linux
box to my windows box. I have my kernel set to use ipchains, but no dice.
I have had it working b4, and i would have to enter three commands.
/sbin/ipchains -P forward DENY, /sbin/ipchains -A forward -s
192.168.0.0/24 -j MASQ , echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward...Can
someone help why i can't get online from my winbox??
thx
